TERMS AND CONDITIONS
This is a public auction and mail/phone/fax bid sale conducted by a licensed firm. All sales are strictly cash, check, certified funds, or personal checks that have been approved prior to the sale. The auctioneer reserves the right to require full payment before delivery of the merchandise. The bidder personally guarantees full payment on winning bids.
The grading and description of coins does vary among experts. There is no warranty, expressed or implied, as to the grade. Each bidder is urged to check all lots and to reach an independent conclusion as to the appropriate grade for any particular lot. The auction is not an approval service, and all sales are considered final. All lots are available for viewing before the auction. All coins are guaranteed genuine. Successful bidders may request certification as to the authenticity for any lot. Auctioneer, at bidder’s expense, will mail the coin or coins to the American Numismatics Association for certification. If the coin is determined to be not genuine, D’Atri Auction will issue a prompt refund of the lot price, plus buyer commission, and absorb the cost of the certification. When the coin or coins are presented to D’Atri Auction for certification, the coin or coins must be housed intact in the original, undisturbed holder.
D’Atri Auction reserves the right to open bidding on each lot at a reasonable price, to bid on behalf of the consignor or cataloguers, and to set bidding increments. Auctioneer may refuse any bid which, in the judgment of the Auctioneer, is believed not to be made in good faith or does not qualify by reason of credit or otherwise, and may withdraw a lot at any time, including before and after a sale.
Bidders by mail/phone/fax must mail full payment within two (2) business days after they have been notified. The return privilege is voided if payment is received late. A mail/phone/fax bidder may return a lot purchased if it is sent to D’Atri Auction by registered mail within five (5) days of shipment, as shown by the buyer’s postmark. No returns will be accepted after five (5) days. All lots must be housed in the original, unopened, and undamaged package to receive a refund. Items that have been graded by an independent grading service may be returned. Postage and handling charges are nonrefundable.
D’Atri Auction will not be responsible for buyers’ bidding errors. Bids may be mailed or called in prior to the auction.
All bids are per lot. No lot will be broken. Announcements made on sale day take precedence over any printed material. Bidding in this auction sale constitutes acceptance, by the bidders, of the terms and conditions.
10% Buyers Fee Will Be Added to
All Successful Bids.
